A little throwback from 2020, back when I was learning from the brilliant Lisa Lachri and figuring out how to paint feathers without swearing at the canvas. Clarence was one of my first wildlife studies and he’s still got that fierce, glorious stare that makes you feel like you’ve got your life together.
He’s acrylic on canvas, 9 x 12 in, and he’s been sitting quietly in the studio ever since. He never made it to my website because he’s not in my usual nostalgic style, but this private Corner Shop crowd gets first dibs.
If Clarence gives you cool eagle vibes, tap here to email me and I’ll stash him behind the counter for you.
