I chose to refer to this journal as your personal ephemeris as it's so much more than just a planner, or to-do list, or diary or tracker. Because it's all of those things, what I found when putting this into practice and becoming part of my daily routine, was that it became a kind of therapy as it was a container for self-reflection and awareness. It housed all the cool things that were happening in my days, weeks, months and years as well as the not so cool things. My journal captured everything or anything I wanted it to.
As I reflected on my journal entries, I was able to chart and look back on patterns which enabled me to be more aware of possibilities and potential opportunities in the future.
With my love of behavioural sciences, esoteric astrology, mythology and archetypes I added these things into the journal to allow you to take a deeper dive into your unique blueprint - what makes you, YOU.
From my astrology studies many years ago, I recalled using an ephemeris, so I looked up the proper definition: an ephemeris is a reference book showing precisely when celestial phenomena occur. I also recently discovered that a Greek translation of 'ephemeris' is diary or journal. Yay! It fit perfectly.
I also believe that you, beautiful, are a celestial being ~ stardust ~ formed from galactic chemical evolution. You being here right now is due to a variety of phenomena that makes up your entire existence. It's exciting and electric!
As you use this book to record your day, plan your week, reflect on what's happened, ask yourself questions and build your self-awareness muscle, you'll be creating your very own personal ephemeris. It will remind you of what you're capable of. It will remind you of your light... your spark!
