I believe in painting your dreams. I had hoped to be in New York a couple of years ago, during winter. I know it will happen one day. Maybe a year or two from now. So I decided to paint how I imagine it would feel to be there when it's snowing.
This work is purely oils - before I discovered mixed media. And there is something so luscious and mystical about it, I have a strong desire to do more.
